Job Title: US Accountant

Location: Clark, Pampanga | Tarlac City | IT Park, Cebu City

Shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday

Work Arrangement: Onsite

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Prepare financial statements
• Reconcile accounts and prepare monthly closing entries
• Communicate with client regarding items needed to close monthly financials
• Manage workload to align with billable expectations, maintaining budgets, regularly updating management on billable status
• Manage, organize, and resolve accounting and payroll issues with government agencies
• Prepare client payroll
• Create client invoices based on contract terms
• File personal property tax returns and business licenses
• Prepare 1099s
• Research issues using AI-powered resources
• Ability to grow into a senior accountant role

ABOUT YOU:

• Minimum of 2 recent year experience in QuickBooks Desktop and Online
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and Word)
• Proficient in collaboration and communication tools such as Zoom, Teams, and Slack
• Knowledge of task management tools such as Monday.com
• Ambition to earn CPA designation
• Willingness to pursue further education and training
• Ability to recognize when an issue needs to be escalated to the next level of management
• Self-directed, highly motivated, accurate, and reliable
• Attentive to detail
• Ability to manage work to meet specific deadlines
• Ability to client interface virtually and in person
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
